Terms & Conditions – Natural History

Welcome to Natural History (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, products, and services. By booking a safari, tour, or related service with Natural History, you agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Booking & Payment
A deposit of [insert %] is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid [insert days] before the start of your tour.
Bookings made within [insert number] days of the tour start date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods provided by Natural History.

2. Pricing

Prices cover only the services outlined in the itinerary. Items not listed (e.g., international flights, visa fees, personal expenses) are excluded.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

By the Client:

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Cancellation fees apply as follows:
60+ days before departure: [insert %] refund

Less than 30 days: no refund

By Natural History:

We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability). In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or an alternative date.

4. Amendments
Any changes to your booking must be requested in writing and may incur additional fees.
Amendments are subject to availability and the discretion of Natural History.

5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and is the responsibility of the client.
Insurance should cover medical expenses, cancellations, personal accidents, loss of belongings, and repatriation.

6. Health & Fitness Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel and participate in the chosen safari.
Consult your doctor for vaccinations and any health advice before travel.

7. Liability Disclaimer
Natural History acts as an agent for various service providers and is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay resulting from their actions.
We are not responsible for events beyond our control, including force majeure, government restrictions, strikes, accidents, or natural disasters.

8. Wildlife Sightings
While we aim to provide excellent safari experiences, wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, as animals roam freely in their natural habitats.

9. Client Conduct
Clients must follow the guidance of safari guides and drivers for safety.
Natural History reserves the right to remove any guest whose behavior is unsafe, inappropriate, or offensive, without refund.

10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and itineraries, is the property of Natural History and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without written permission.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
